1	Delhi Welcome to Delhi International Airport, where our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in a private chauffeur-driven vehicle.
2	Delhi Old Delhi bustles with vibrant markets, narrow alleys, and landmarks like Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat, while a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk captures its unique energy; the day also includes visits to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the Mughal marvel Humayun’s Tomb, Connaught Place, India Gate, and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
3	Delhi - Agra Travel by private chauffeur-driven car to Agra, the Mughal Empire’s historic capital. Enjoy an afternoon tour of the majestic red sandstone Agra Fort followed by a horse-drawn carriage ride to the iconic 17th-century Taj Mahal, a stunning marble mausoleum commemorating Emperor Shah Jahan’s beloved queen.
4	Agra - Jaipur Enjoy a serene sunrise view of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, located across the Yamuna River. During the drive, visit the deserted UNESCO World Heritage city of Fatehpur Sikri, renowned for its magnificent architecture, including Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Salim Chishti’s Tomb, and Panch Mahal.
5	Jaipur Spend the day in Jaipur exploring majestic forts and palaces, including an early morning elephant or jeep ride to Amber Fort, the City Palace with its stunning gardens and courtyards, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, and the striking Hawa Mahal, followed by shopping in the vibrant local bazaars.
6	Jaipur - Delhi After your visit, we'll drive you back to Delhi for your onward flight, concluding your tour. Note: We can customise this tour to include other destinations as per your preference.

Day 1	Welcome to Delhi International Airport! Upon arrival, our team will assist you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel by a private chauffeur-driven vehicle. New Delhi is the capital of India, has been inhabited continuously since the 6th century BCE and has served as the capital of multiple kingdoms and empires throughout its history. In the 1920s, it was redesigned by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker. Today, Delhi is a bustling metropolis that serves as a vibrant hub of international arts and culture and a thriving commercial centre. Please note that the standard check-in time at hotels is 2 pm. As most international flights arrive in the evening or night, we do not have any sightseeing activities planned for the first day of the trip. However, if your flight arrives early in the day and you don't require time to recuperate from international travel, we can arrange some sightseeing on the first day of the trip at an additional charge. Day 2	MORNING: TOUR OF OLD & NEW DELHI Old Delhi is known for its hustle and bustle, energy and colour, local shops and bazaars, and twists and turns of narrow lanes between soaring buildings and leaning houses. A rickshaw ride through the busy and narrow streets of Chandni Chowk will give you a unique experience. Take a look at the marvellous Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Drive past the Red Fort while enjoying the rickshaw ride. Your next stop is Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial – a calm and quiet place in complete contrast to the commotion of the old walled city. Amongst other prominent attractions to cover on the same day is the golden-domed Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a famous Sikh temple, which has a huge kitchen where the langar (free food for anyone who wants it) is prepared for thousands of people every day. Volunteers mostly staff it, and you can go in and look around or even help out. Visit the inspiring Mughal monument, Humayun’s Tomb - UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the first garden-tomb in the country, constructed in 1570. Later, zip around the Connaught Place shopping centre and be mesmerised by the fast-paced and upscale lifestyle. Take a look at the India Gate and other princely buildings, including Rashtrapati Bhavan, to admire the architectural grandeur of modern Delhi. Day 3	Drive to the love city of Agra by a private chauffeur-driven vehicle. Agra, the capital of the Mughal Empire during the 16th and 17th centuries, boasts three UNESCO world heritage sites that serve as legacies from that period: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. AFTERNOON: TOUR OF AGRA FORT AND TAJ MAHAL Visit the Red Fort, also called as the Lal-Qila, is a red sandstone fort, built by Akbar, is admired for its splendour, architectural beauty and magnificent halls. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the fort is the emblem of resilience, power and strength. Once the capital of the Mughal Sultanate, the citadel brags about several majestic palaces, masjids and halls; the most prominent amongst them are Macchi Bhawan, Shah Jahani Mahal, Khas Mahal, Mina Masjid, Nagina Masjid and Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-I-Am). Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride to the fabled Taj Mahal, the legendary Mughal monument built in the 17th century. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and stands tall as a memorial to the beloved queen of Emperor Shah Jahan. The spectacular white marble mausoleum is well-complimented by the sprawling gardens, royal audience halls and private chambers. Day 4	MORNING: TOUR OF MEHTAB GARDEN TO VIEW TAJ MAHAL Immerse in a beautiful sunrise of view of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, across the Yamuna River. The Mughal garden is located on the other side of the river. INCLUDED: Monument Entrance Fees, Battery Van ride, personal English-speaking guide and private Chauffeur-driven vehicle EN-ROUTE TOUR OF FATEHPUR SIKRI Visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Be charmed with the magnificence of the ghost city once known for its extraordinary architecture that can still be perceived through the design and construction. Amongst the most popular buildings, both religious and secular, are Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Ibadat Khana, Mariam-us-Zamani’s Palace, Naubat Khana, Birbal’s House and Panch Mahal. Jaipur, Rajasthan\'s renowned walled capital city, is also known as the \"Pink City.\" This nickname originates from the city painted pink in 1876 as a symbol of the locals\' warm welcome to the visit of Queen Victoria of England and the Prince of Wales.
Day 5	MORNING: TOUR OF JAIPUR CITY AND AMBER FORT Today spend day in Jaipur exploring the impressive forts, majestic castles, vibrant local bazaars, local souvenirs and experience real India. The day starts with an elephant ride to the Amer Fort for the Hall of Public Audience, the Palace of Mirrors and other important attractions. Reach early to avoid the huge crowd at the fort. If you don't like to experience an Elephant ride, then a jeep can be arrnanged to get up there on the hill fort. From here, head to the City Palace and appreciate its magnificent gardens and striking courtyards. They offer a brilliant contrast to the awe-inspiring palatial structures, such as the Shri Govind Dev temple, Badal Mahal, Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Also, visit the Diwan-e-Khas and marvel at the giant silver water vessels. Jantar Mantar is the next attraction. The observatory comprises several impressive buildings of distinctive geometrical forms, each having a unique function for astronomical measurement. Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, is a striking attraction with more than 900 windows. Later in the day, explore and indulge in shopping at the colourful bazaars of Jaipur. Day 6	Drive back to Delhi to catch your onward flight. End of tour services. Note: We can customize this tour to extend to other destinations as per your preference.

Perfection -- do not hesitate

We had an incredible holiday in India organised by Elegant Journey Mr Vivek 11th years ago, I’m so glad we ask Mr Vivek to helped us again this time. And without fail this was another incredible holiday, and I can say won’t be our last. This time we went to Ladakh and Rajasthan and all were perfectly organised. Hotels/ guides/ drivers all were well chosen I would like to special highlight Mr Yoginder our Rajasthan driver he was really good reliable and to us he is more than just a driver he is a good friend. Also Remesh and Sonam our guides in Ladakh region, it is an area no one should missed. Elegant Journeys is a five-star tour company headed by Vivek Wadhawan. He is on top of very single issue. Tours are custom-made, and private. Vivek meets you personally at the beginning of the tour and he sends a company representative to every city we visited. You have your own AC car, driver and guide for every destination. The driver stays with you throughout. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEV SINGH AS A TOUR DRIVER. He is excellent, a very kind individual and quite knowledgable as well. He shared many personal stories and insights of India and its culture. He catered to our every need, supplied us with COLD water every single minute and was alert and always ready when we needed him. He made sure that he was available to help us in any way, shape or form. He constantly asked us if we wanted to do other stuff, pass by shops etc. We made a good friend in India and highly recommend him to english-speaking tourists. Our guide in Agra - KAPIL JUNEJA - is another one that we highly recommend. He has such a jovial personality and extremely knowledgable on everything historical about India. He gave insights that I am sure guide books would not have. It was such a pleasure being recipients of his guided tours in Agra. Elegant Journeys is an excellent company headed by Vivek Wadhawan who is very hands on. All of the tours offered are private and there are both predetermined tours and special itineraries if desired. The company has a roster of office help, drivers and local representatives in each place you visit. It also has good arrangements with the Oberoi hotel organization and our accommodations were incredible. The company goes the extra mile to ensure that your experience is unique. When some visitation sites are closed Vivek personally instructs the assigned guides to other sites to guarantee unique experiences. When internal flights are cancelled he arranges options: either other flights or a driver to transport you to the next location. The company throws in extras and is intent to see that you have a first rate experience. You should not hesitate to sign on with Elegant Journeys. Dealing with the company directly is very efficient and guarantees that there are people on the ground who will monitor and take care of your every need. It also eliminates another level of charges dealing with a U.S. company which in turns deals with its Indian counterpart. Vivek is a first class gentleman who is very professional. The guides who were assigned to us by the local representative offices were excellent. Special requests were handled willingly. The hotels were fabulous. Last but not least the driver assigned to us, Dev, was remarkable. Besides being an astounding driver he shared much information with us that put a very personal twist on life in India. We ended our journey feeling that we had made a good friend of Dev. Elegant Journeys ensured that we left with warm feelings for the country and the people we met. It is not possible to completely explore a place like Jaipur without a helpful tour guide and skilled driver who knows everything about the place. We would highly recommend our guide Tahir. Tahir was very knowledgeable in explaining the local heritage and culture of Jaipur. We learned so much about the historical sites and temples . He answered all our questions and was very considerate and polite. Tahir was very happy to follow our itinerary advising us on the best places to visit for shopping. Our elephant farm experience was out off this world. Tahir also made sure we had rest breaks, water and washroom breaks. As 2 lone female travellers we felt safe and secure at all times and would highly recommend to any solo female traveller. Our time in Jaipur was greatly enhanced by Tahir and made our first trip to India a very memorable experience.

It was such a next experience for me and my wife to make this trip to India with Abid. Abid is a great guide, he knows a lot and also focused in our needs, we had an amazing time there doing the Golden triangle tour. We also celebrated my birthday in jaipur and it was so nice.
